Full Terms and Condiitons

Postal Rates

Postage and packaging have been calculated based on the goods being purchased and the delivery address. Postal rates include VAT at 20%.


Payment

We accept credit and debit card purchases. Your card details will not be retained by us following the procedure. 

Prices are inclusive of VAT at 20%. VAT charges do not apply to orders shipped outside of the UK and European Union, this will be reflected in the shopping cart. If your billing address is outside the UK and your shipping address is within the address please note a VAT charge will incur on the order.


Delivery

Goods ordered from Knit one Purl one will be delivered as soon as possible in accordance to the requested delivery service; first or second class. Every effort is made to ensure delivery is made within 10 working days at a maximum, however we do put every effort in to dispatch it the same day. All goods are subject to availability. 

Please allow 7 working days for delivery before contacting us to chase your order. 

If Knit one Purl one is unable to deliver the order after 30 days of the date of the order, the customer is entitled to cancel the order and a refund. To cancel the order the customer must send in writing notice of cancellation to Knit one Purl one after the order date but before delivery of the goods. 


Refunds

We do accept returns for any unused goods for exchange or refund for up to 28 days from the delivery date. They must be in the condition we supplied them ( the yarn must be in the ball bands and accessories/needles in original packaging. It must also be free from any odours or pet hairs). If you return yarn that is not resaleable, you forfeit your right to a refund and the item will be returned to you, at your cost. The buyer is responsible for the cost of return postage. We recommend goods are sent by recorded delivery as we cannot accept responsibility should your returns go missing. 

Also, products on special offers and promotions and books and patterns cannot be exchanged or returned unless they are faulty.

Orders placed by credit or debit card from this web site will be refunded directly to your credit or debit card. Orders placed by other means will be refunded by cheque. These refunds will be made within 30 days of return of goods.

Knit one Purl one cannot offer refunds on items that have been personalised/bespoke or knit on request.

All handmade knitted returns are subject to the following conditions:

  • In the condition you received it

  • No strong odours or pet hair

  • Unused

  • No marks or stains

We will provide a full refund of postage if the return is a result of an error that Knit one Purl one has made or the goods are faulty. A refund will be issued as soon as we receive the goods for the price paid for them.


General

There is no minimum order value but the postal rates work our better value for money in larger quantities. We advised that you order enough wool to finish your project as we cannot guarantee that the same dye lot will be available for your next purchase.

If your item is not in stock we will order the item for you. This means that there is a possibility of a delay in delivering the goods to you. You will be contact should this apply to you. 


Privacy Policy  

We take the security of all your personal information seriously. Your credit or debit card details are not stored at all. We never pass on any of your details to anyone else.

Contract 

When you buy our goods and services on the internet, you are entering a legally binding contract by completing the ordering process.

 

We reserve the right to change, modify, substitute or remove without notice any information on this website. Prices, goods and availability of products are subject to change at any time. Knit one Purl one also reserves the right to withdraw its service at any time, to refuse the service to any customer and to amend these Terms & Conditions, all at any time without notice.

 

We reserve the right, by giving notice to you at any time before delivery or performance of our obligations to you, to increase the price of the Goods to reflect any increase in the cost to us due to any factor beyond our control (such as without limitation, any foreign exchange fluctuation, significant increase in the costs of labour, materials or other costs of manufacture). In the unlikely event of this occurring, you shall be entitled to cancel the order at any time before delivery.

 

Eligibility To Purchase From The Website

To be eligible to purchase the Goods on this Website and lawfully enter into and form contracts with us, you must:

1.       Be 16 years of age or over

2.       Be legally capable of entering into a binding contract

3.       Provide full details of a delivery address in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area (if you reside in the EEA)


Confirmation of Order

Your order will be confirmed by email normally within 24 hours, but not longer than 72 hours, of receipt of your order over the internet. Credit/Debit card are debited by the person placing the order at the time they place the order, NOT when the goods are sent. 


Discounts

We reserve the right to adapt our discounts in any way we see fit. Every discount on our website is subject to our control and is strongly enforced. Quantity discounts apply only to an individual item and not a selection of the same item in different colours or selection of several different items in a single shopping cart. Voucher discounts are subject to these terms and conditions also.


Illegal Acts 

It is a crime to use a false information or a known invalid credit card to order any goods. Anyone caught wilfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. 

We shall have no liability for delays or failures in delivery or performance of our obligations to you resulting from any act, events, omissions, failures or accidents that are outside of our control ('Force Majeure'), which, without limitation, include; Strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action, Shortages of labour, fuel, power, raw materials, Late, defective performance or non-performance by suppliers, Private or public telecommunication, computer network failures or breakdown of equipment, Civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster or extreme weather conditions, Impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport, Acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government, Other causes, beyond our reasonable control
